Rocky Bottom Holiday Dip Recipe

Well, this year we spent Thanksgiving day fishing for trout by the Raven Fork River in NC. Later that weekend we visited with family by the fire pit exchanging childhood memories. Our children listened on in horrified amazement. It's really hard to explain the 80's and 90's in a way that will impress teens today. We did have a blessed time full of laughter! We are so grateful for our friends and family!

Now about Christmas... family dinners, office parties, ugly sweater parties... we have a dip for all those parties and dinners, a dish you will bring to the table and be proud to talk about... a brand new dip recipe I tested in our kitchen just today. When I sampled it on a sesame cracker it made my mouth sing! I also tried it with dipping veggies~ amazing. Its the Rocky Bottom dip recipe! Simple yet full of flavor- perfect! Wow your friends with this gourmet delight!  Read below for the scoop..

Ingredients:

1 block cream cheese (8 ounces softened)

1/2 cup green olives stuffed with pimentos (chopped small)

1/2 cup oyster mushrooms chopped small (sautéed quickly in 1 tsp olive oil)

1tsp vinegar

1/4 tsp garlic powder

Directions:

stir to combine all ingredients, chill until the party and serve with your favorite cracker or raw vegetables like carrots or celery pairs nicely with wine.
